NATO needs 50 battalions of troops to deal with Russia

NATO allies need an additional 50 battalions of troops to execute plans to defend against potential Russian attacks. Each battalion typically consists of approximately 3,000 to 7,000 soldiers, making the task of creating these units particularly challenging.

Security news sources report, “Germany is set to increase its air force squadrons by four times to counter Russia.”

NATO officials state, “Air defense, long-range precision weapons, transportation, and large-scale ground force deployment are crucial priorities for us.” They add, “NATO is trending toward setting higher capability targets for allies as we develop forces capable of executing our plans to counter the threats we face. We are confident in the resilience of our defense and will remain strong!”
