Spitting cobras are a special group of cobras that can spit deadly venom from their venom glands up to 2 meters away. Their venom is aimed at the enemy’s eyes. It causes pain, eye inflammation and permanent blindness if not treated.

Appearance: Similar to a common cobra. The body of the fortress is shorter than that of the Thai cobra. The head is large and clearly separated from the neck. The back scales are black and white. The belly is white with black or brown lines across it. The asterisk pattern is usually U-shaped or blurry, and some have a white spotted pattern.

Its venom is deadly to the eyes, causing pain, inflammation and permanent blindness. The poison affects the nervous system. It causes muscle paralysis or can be serious and cause death.
